About

Senith EdirisingheUI/UX Designer

I am a UI/UX designer. My work is the part before the pixels, understanding who is going to use a thing, what they are actually trying to get done, and what is standing in the way. The interface is the answer to that, not the starting point.

I work end to end: user research and flows, wireframes, high-fidelity UI, and the design system that keeps it consistent. Usability and accessibility are decisions I make as I go, not a pass at the end. I studied software engineering, so I can talk to developers in their own terms, understand what a design costs to implement, and hand over work they can actually build.

AI is part of how I work, exploring directions, drafting systems and components, and cutting the time between an idea and something you can react to. Every output still gets reviewed the same way: does it serve the user? Does it hold up across the flow? Does it meet contrast and accessibility? AI makes me faster. Human-centered thinking makes the design right.

How I work

AI moves the work forward. UX thinking decides where it goes.

Color systems, type scales, and component sets are the parts of the craft that used to take days but now take an afternoon. That is a change in speed, not in judgement. Knowing what a person actually needs and what to cut so they can get to it is still the work.

  1. 01

    Explore faster

AI generates directions, variants and first drafts in minutes, so more of the timeline goes to the decisions that matter instead of the setup.

  2. 02

    Review, never accept

Every output gets read as a critique problem: does it serve the user, does it hold up across the flow, does it meet contrast and accessibility.

  3. 03

    Process decides

Research, user flows, usability testing and iteration still drive the outcome. AI speeds up the making; the process settles what is right.
